DRY BACKPACK 20067743
When you need to bail water out of the drift boat, or even rafting down a class-4 rapid, you’ll be glad to have our Dry Backpack securely strapped in. Designed for effective waterproof protection, it comfortably carries gear and keeps it dry, no matter how wet the conditions.
Built with tough 840-denier nylon tarpaulin fabric coated with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), water simply cannot penetrate it. This coated nylon fabric is lightweight, flexible and abrasion-resistant. The TPU coating is resistant to ultraviolet light and chemicals, ensuring durability and longevity without breakdown from hard use. The seams are radio-frequency (RF) welded, a cement-free process that permanently fuses the fabric layers together, assuring lasting flexibility and integrity. All webbing and padding is securely stitched to an additional layer of the waterproof fabric, which is then RF-welded to the bag’s body. This is the same construction as used in the manufacture of white-water rafting gear.
Our Dry Backpack is engineered in our Seattle headquarters for comfort and functionality. The breathable back panel is padded with high-density EVA foam for carrying comfort, and the adjustable, padded shoulder straps are anatomically-curved to match the shape of your body. D-rings were added to the shoulder straps for convenient attachment of a GPS, whistles or other gear that requires instant access. With a sternum strap that’s adjustable for position and width, the load will be secure with no concern about straps slipping off your shoulders. The top closure is a reliable and time-proven roll-top design. With the top rolled down three turns and snugly buckled with the side-cinch straps, water cannot enter the bag. This closure design also affords the ability to compress the bag for varying load sizes. For organizing small items, the front features a zippered expandable-mesh pocket and the interior a mesh zipper-security pocket.
