ROOTS IN THE GREAT DEPRESSION
It all began in 1932. The U.S. was in the midst of the Great Depression. Charles Danner opened the doors of Danner Shoe Mfg. Company in the old logging town of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, with 12 employees to build affordable, handcrafted work boots.
